B&B “The Green Woodpecker”

Perched villages, cultivated fields, hedgerows and groves; not everyone is lucky enough to have such an eventful view. The focus is on the view across the pool. All around many small shrubs-roses, sages, caryopteris, myrtles, cysts-mark the lawn without any obstruction to the view. Blooms from spring to fall, subdued tones perfectly integrated among the green of the crops.
Water is still present in the garden. A fountain with a fun play between two pools, brightens and refreshes the environment on hot summer days. A convenient barbecue and a stone sink complete this intensely lived-in corner by the owners. Upstream of the dwelling, the wide escarpment has been reshaped, subdivided and enhanced through paths rich in scents and colors. Ancient fruits, a dense expanse of typical Mediterranean shrubs, and flowing forms are the element of continuity between the hills on the horizon and the garden.
