Warm sandstone is the protagonist, in an interplay of dry stone walls that connect the floors on which the individual housing units are developed, of this prestigious residential complex. Herbaceous plants, trees and shrubs, selected on the basis of shapes, textures and blooms, are the elements that allowed the play of volumes to be balanced. A wooden pergola, developed in height on two levels, visually unites two housing units by mitigating the existing height difference. The shady area created, was the right opportunity to introduce a cordonade of paniculate hydrangeas, with showy and prolonged blooms. Another pergola with a simple, geometric layout defines a seating area equipped with a barbecue. As a room we are ushered onto a large open lawn space emphasized by a fountain that directs the eye to a breathtaking view. Overall, a garden of elegance and restraint.
