During the architectural renovation of the Conero Azzurro tourist village, overseen by architect Aldo Ciufici, the area dedicated to greenery was upgraded. Sinuous pedestrian paths are emphasized by swaying walls accompanied by a texture of gray to green leaves, a rich array of shapes, textures of shrubs and herbaceous perennials. The towering old Aleppo pines stand out among gaureas, lavenders and sages in variety, plumbago and shrubs typical of the Mediterranean scrub. Shades from white to light blue to blue, with pink to purple accents, a soothing mix that is fully embedded in what is the natural environment. Special attention has also been paid to the choice of lighting, which is effective and scenic turns on the pleasant evenings held in the small square.
