The Pond in the Garden

A young couple found in an old farmhouse, the home to take refuge after long periods of work abroad. The garden appeared as a tangled sloping wasteland from which three young olive trees and an old mulberry tree emerged with difficulty. Now you can walk through its paths to the pond with water lilies, tife, Iris pseudacorus with deep yellow flowers. A wide straight pathway, shaded by a long arbor, gives the eye a vertical perspective. The greenery is interrupted by the deck made of chestnut boards, a privileged corner where you can relax in peace and enjoy the spectacle that nature knows how to put on day after day.
